As a part of the tentamen, we have to fill a sketchbook with copy of masters. We can concentrate on one artist or a genre. I decided to investigate Daily life as a genre. Copying old masters, 19th century artist as well as contemparary ones. Today i copied an early painting from my favorite 20 th century artist Picasso ... i copied “ the absinthe drinker” . Furthermore i started to sketch in preparatoir for my oil copy a painting of 2014, “The host of the barrel”from Lynette Viadom Boakye, picturing 3 dansers at rest (inspired on the dansers of Degas).on top of that i started the painted sketch.
